Delete your Legacy of the Ashen Dragon account

A game by eGuys.

You can delete your account at any time: in the game, or on this page. It happens at once and cannot be undone. The game never asks for your name or email address, so none is kept.

What is deleted, at once

• Your heroes in every season: their level, gear, gold, journal, quests, bestiary and map.
• Your honours from past seasons.
• Your cairns, your meetings with other heroes, the heroes you ignore, and your heroes' names in the Daily Happenings.
• Your bug reports and ideas, with our replies and notes.
• The play statistics recorded for your account.
• The messages you asked for, on every device, and when each was last sent.
• Your recovery code, which stops working, and the link to your Google account, if you made one.
• Your account on the error reports the game sends by itself: each error stays, counted once for every player who hit it.

What is kept, and for how long

• Copies in our backups: those on the game's server are gone within 14 days, and the encrypted copies kept elsewhere within 12 months. If one is ever restored, your account is deleted again straight away: it never comes back.
• Your account's random identifier and when you deleted it (and when you last turned play statistics off, if you did), and nothing else, for 13 months: that is what deletes your account again if a backup is restored.
• The game server's request log, which holds your account's identifier beside each request, and the web server's error log, which can hold the network address and browser of a request that failed: until each log reaches its size limit or the game is next updated, whichever comes first.
• Lines that name your hero in other players' journals and bug reports, such as a duel they fought against you, or respects you paid at their hero's cairn: as they were written.
• Copies of your bug reports in our private issue tracker, if we made one: without your account or hero identifiers, deleted 12 months after we close them, as reports in the game are. To have one deleted sooner, write to support@legacyoftheashendragon.com with its reference, such as GD-12.
• Emails you sent to support@legacyoftheashendragon.com, which the game never links to your account: two years after your last one, or sooner if you ask in one.

In the game

Open the Hero tab, then Settings, and at the bottom Delete account. Between seasons, or before you join a new one, the season screen shows your recovery code and Delete account at the bottom instead. If you sign in with Google and do not know your recovery code, open the game, sign in with Google and delete from there.
